I really haven't been home, hence my blogger absence. I recently went from a full-time writer/mom to getting a full time job. It's been a challenge working a real work week and having to get up at a certain time, so my writing has been at a standstill. I really miss writing in my pajamas and cuddling with my cats, but I do have a pretty cool job. No complaining here. I work at my local humane society, and have recently been promoted as the small animal manager. I'm working to bring awareness to the public especially on caring for rabbits, as they are the third most popular animal brought to shelters across the US.
That's me now--working mom saving all the little animals and young adult paranormal writer by night! Ohhh it sounds like my new author bio haha.
Before I show you what I get to do all day, I want to tell you how something weird happened as I was editing Deadly Darkness (Book 2 in the Deadly Kisses Trilogy) I realized I had written a whole scene focusing on a humane society. Maybe it was deja vu. I certainly got spine-tingling chills.
Here are some of the animals that needed help and have been recently adopted!
